Despite what everybody says, NFTs are clearly back… First we saw Beeple having the most popular campaign at Art Basel and then today 60,000 people on Telegram got access to the UFC collectible gifts. The reality is that all of this is taking place in non-traditional ways. The UFC is now a multi-billion dollar organization and they’re having massive success despite “NFTs being dead”. $100,000 given away, luxury gifts, and the digital collectibles all redeemed within minutes. There’s also a secondary TON marketplace where people can bid or buy the gifts directly as well. While I have no idea where this all ends up, it’s super exciting to see NFTs getting adoption across markets that previously had no exposure.
